In recent years, Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy have joined forces on several projects, including “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project.” Now, they’re teaming up for their most anticipated film yet: “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

This movie will mark the onscreen collaboration fans have eagerly awaited between Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.

Interestingly, Jackman previously worked with Levy in 2011 on “Real Steel,” which also starred Evangeline Lilly and Anthony Mackie before their Marvel days.

Levy has spoken about the potential for a sequel to “Real Steel,” expressing optimism during a recent interview at CinemaCon with ScreenRant. “We always talk about ‘Real Steel 2,’” Levy remarked. “Because the world won’t let us forget, and I’m glad for that.”

While “Real Steel 2” remains a dream for now, fans can look forward to “Deadpool 3,” which is on the horizon. The film, directed by Levy and written by Wendy Molyneaux, Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick, is shrouded in mystery regarding its plot. However, there’s been much speculation and excitement surrounding the project.

Ryan Reynolds has shared his enthusiasm for Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine, revealing in a previous interview with Collider, “I always wanted Hugh to come back.”

Reynolds discussed his initial discussions with Kevin Feige about a Deadpool/Wolverine film after Disney acquired Fox. The stars aligned when Jackman expressed interest in reprising his role, which reignited Reynolds’ enthusiasm for the project. Reynolds then revisited the idea and pitched it once more to Feige, hoping to bring this highly anticipated crossover to fruition.
