Apple TV+ has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming 1960s NASA-set comedy-drama film, Fly Me To The Moon, starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum.
The new upcoming movie is set against the high-stakes backdrop of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing. The film tells a story about a plan to fake the moon landing just in case NASA couldn’t do it for real.
“Sparks fly in all directions as marketing maven Kelly Jones (Johansson), brought in to fix NASA’s public image, wreaks havoc on launch director Cole Davis’ (Tatum) already difficult task.
“When the White House deems this mission too important to fail, he is directed to stage a fake moon landing as backup, and the countdown truly begins.”
Fly Me To The Moon was directed by Greg Berlanti (Green Arrow, The Flash) from a script written by Rose Gilroy. The movie also has a great supporting cast that includes Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber, Donald Elise Watkins, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson.
The movie will be released on July 12th, 2024.
